How is the World Cup mode different from club Dobitka?
Club mode is about your favourite club and match-by-match lineups. World Cup mode is a separate tournament flow: you make tournament picks, choose a national team or neutral mode, set lineups for World Cup matches and compete in tournament rankings.
What exactly do I pick?
The quick set has 15 picks worth up to 105 points: champion, top scorer, best goalkeeper and winners of 12 groups.
The full set is worth up to 229 points: group runners-up, group third places and 32 bracket slots are added on top.
When do picks lock?
Picks lock just before the first World Cup whistle. After lock, you can view your picks but cannot add or change them.
What is a second team if Poland is not there?
Pick a second national team for the tournament: a neighbour, a team you like, a favourite from childhood or simply a squad you want to follow. If you do not want that attachment, choose neutral mode.
What is neutral mode?
Neutral mode lets you set lineups for any World Cup match instead of being tied to one national team. It is useful if your team is eliminated or you want to follow the tournament broadly.
Does my campaign change the official bracket?
No. Your simulated match can outperform reality in Dobitka, but the official FIFA results decide which teams remain in the real tournament and bracket.
Is it betting?
No. Dobitka has no odds, no stakes, no payouts and no casino mechanics. It is sports analysis and entertainment.
